# Grit Points

**Grit Points (GP)** allow you to train and customize your chicken’s combat stats by allocating points across key attributes such as Attack, Defense, Speed, HP, Cockrage, Ferocity, and Evasion. Each stat can be upgraded up to a high level, giving you flexibility in shaping your chicken’s strengths. However, GP uses a limited SP pool, meaning you cannot max everything and must choose which stats to prioritize based on your strategy.

The cost of upgrading GP **increases as you progress**, making higher levels more expensive and impactful. This creates a natural progression where early upgrades are easier, while late-game decisions require careful planning. Different chicken types also have different SP limits, resulting in varying build possibilities and encouraging more specialized stat distributions.

To maintain flexibility, GP can be reset through a **respec system** that refunds all spent SP, allowing you to reallocate and adjust your build as needed. This ensures that players can adapt to changes in strategy or meta over time.
