### **Immortality**

Unlike other chickens that can be "burned" after losing a battle, Genesis Chickens **defy death** itself. This is essential to the game's progression system. With **immortality**, your chicken can always keep fighting and powering up!

When Genesis Chickens lose under the effect of *Takipsilim*, they don’t die. Instead, they enter **Faint Status**.

What Happens When a Genesis Chicken Faints :point\_down:

🔸 They can’t perform any ecosystem actions until the next reset at 00:00 UTC\
🔸 They can’t be rubbed for Feathers\
🔸 They still count toward daily heal allocation\
🔸 Every consecutive faint extends the recovery time for Genesis Chickens

* 1st faint: 1 reset
* 2nd faint: 2 resets
* 3rd faint: 4 resets
* 4th+ faint: 7 resets

**Reminder**: Recovery duration returns to 1 reset once your chicken endures 1 reset without fainting.

Even immortals can fall sometimes!

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://whitepaper.chickensaga.com/chicken-collections/genesis-collection.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
